In April of 2023, the creation of Baskie.com was a happy accident. Upon the completion of an important project and what was essentially the ending of a big chapter of our lives, my closest friends and I came together to express gratitude to our clients. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find the right service to help us out. So, we ventured to build, assemble, and deliver over 30 gift baskets to our clients in the LA area.

While our familiarity with their personal preferences was limited, we wanted to ensure our gesture still resonated so they knew how much they meant to us. In this pursuit, we curated a collection of meticulously crafted gift baskets by hand, using quality goods from small businesses while intentionally avoiding food items to cater to a more diverse pool of needs and preferences (and without having to worry about dietary restrictions!). Recognizing the potential value of this endeavor, we realized that such thoughtful gifting solutions could be a beneficial service for others facing similar circumstances.

In turn, Baskie’s beta-testing phase was created, featuring our team’s curated gift baskets that hold universal appeal. Each gift basket is thoughtfully assembled by our team, and every card is personalized by hand. Our platform is designed to be as easy-to-use as possible, and new features are being added almost every day.
